Empowering Sustainable Lifestyles and Inspiring Change through Responsible Consumption

This program is also one of the commitments of the University of North Sumatra (USU) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based on the background in efforts to encourage responsible consumption and production patterns in Indonesia. In the era of globalization and rapid economic growth, unsustainable consumption patterns have caused negative impacts on the environment and natural resources. This program aims to encourage a sustainable lifestyle and promote environmentally friendly production practices in Indonesia. USU plays an active role in educating students, staff, and the public about the importance of responsible consumption, efficient waste management, and the application of green technology in production. Through collaboration with external partners, USU also seeks to develop innovations and solutions that promote sustainable consumption and production in various sectors, including industry, agriculture and tourism.
