PUBLIC RELATION USU - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) students gained valuable experience by becoming speakers at the Sharing Session Youth Collaboration in Research and Scholarship event at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia for Karachi, Pakistan, November 23, 2022.

The Indonesian Consul General for Pakistan Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat in his statement said the sharing session was held in the framework of the one year celebration of the Indonesia Pakistan Youth Forum (IPYF).

Apart from the Indonesia Youth Researcher of USU at ICCBS Karachi, the speakers included Pakistani Youth Researcher of ICCBS Karachi, Mr. Taimor Ahmed from Atma Jaya University, Mr. Zeeshan from UGM and Mr. Kamran Ali from ITB.

Vice Rector III Prof. Poppy Anjelisa Z Hasibuan said there were 10 students and 3 lecturers currently conducting research in Pakistan.

"The internship and research are activities organized by the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) which last for 6-12 months," she said.

The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) itself is an inter-university center that brings research to international students from various countries.(©ULC)
