The International Affairs Office (IAO) at Universitas Sumatera Utara is a department that operates under the Vice-Rector for Planning & Partnership. IAO's role is to provide expert support and guidelines for the university’s international relations. IAO supports the internationalization efforts of USU by providing leadership and administrative support. IAO is responsible for facilitating international collaboration and coordinating activities to help make Universitas Sumatera Utara an internationally recognized university for education, research, and community service.
