In the community service/legal counseling activities, resource persons were academics from FH USU, including Dr. Afnila, S.H., M.Hum., with the material "The Right to Vote as a Constitutional Right of Citizens", Dr. Abdul Haris Nasution, S.H., M.H., who presented the material "Elections, Public Information: Your Right to Know", and Yusrin, S.H., M.Hum., with the counseling material "How to Become a Rational Voter?".
Public Relations USU - The Academic Community and the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) carried out community service activities in the form of legal counseling and social services to the community in Sambirejo Timur Village, Percut Seituan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The activity took the theme, "Community Service, Use Your Right to Vote, Channel Your Aspirations".
In his speech, the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. expressed his gratitude to the committee and all academics for implementing community service as a noble Tridharma of Higher Education mandate. The Chairperson of the Committee also expressed gratitude for the 70th Anniversary of FH USU, Dr. Iwan Ginting, S.H., M.H., who also serves as the Assistant for Special Crimes at the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Aspidsus Kejati Sumut). Also present was the Chairperson of IKA FH USU, represented by Edwin Nasution, S.H., M.Si. (Head of Inspectorate of Deli Serdang Regency) and the Head of Sambirejo Timur Village, Arifin.
