KMK (Kebaktian Mahasiswa Kristen) USU Student Activity Unit
The KMK (Kebaktian Mahasiswa Kristen) USU Student Activity Unit is a religious student activity unit for Christian students at USU that has been established for over forty years. The KMK USU Student Activity Unit was founded with the goal of providing mental and spiritual guidance to USU students. This student activity unit also directs its members to engage in mission service, such as evangelism, formation, multiplication, and sending. In line with its vision, "USU students are in darkness and heading towards destruction; therefore, they need Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and they are ready to be sent as qualified alumni, to become salt and light," this student activity unit serves as a guiding path for Christian students at USU. Therefore, Christian students at USU who wish to dedicate themselves and deepen their personal faith are encouraged to join the KMK USU Student Activity Unit.

KMK USU Student Activity Unit Service
Service at the KMK USU Student Activity Unit is not just a tradition but a reflection of our identity as dedicated Christian students. Held regularly, usually at Universitas Sumatera Utara, such as at the PEMA USU Secretariat in semester A, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Western Indonesia Time, this activity attracts the attention of many students. In one documented event, there were 192 individuals in attendance, with 103 of them present physically, while the rest joined through digital platforms: 13 through YouTube and 76 via Zoom.
KMK USU Student Activity Unit Vision Transfer 2023
One of our important missions at the KMK USU Student Activity Unit is to prepare a resilient and highly dedicated generation of successors. Through the vision transfer activities, we nurture Christian students to become leaders within small groups consisting of 3–8 members. In these groups, participants study the Word of God, pray together, and share their spiritual and life experiences. The Universitas Sumatera Utara Pancasila Building serves as a witness and the location of our latest activity, which was attended by 157 participants.
KMK USU Student Activity Unit Prayer Hours 2023
As a spiritual stronghold, the prayer hour at the KMK USU Student Activity Unit is an important moment where we gather to pray for the success and stability of our ministry. With the theme "The Philosophy of Student Ministry," this event was held at the Global Mission House, Bunga Teratai Street, Padang Bulan, Medan, which also serves as a fellowship house for KMK USU Student Activity Unit alumni and students. This event, which took place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Western Indonesia Time, successfully brought together 119 participants to actively participate.
