Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit
Gamadiksi USU is a student activity unit specifically designed for Bidikmisi Scholarship and Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah recipients. Gamadiksi USU was officially established as a recognized student organization for Bidikmisi recipients on December 17, 2011. This student activity unit, built on a foundation of kinship, encourages its members to become high-achieving, creative, independent, moral, responsible, and socially-minded Bidikmisi students. In various activities, Gamadiksi USU often organizes seminars focused on developing soft and hard skills, as well as involving its members as speakers. Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit always serves as a platform for Bidikmisi students to enhance their skills and become agents of social control and change.

Rapat Pimpinan Nasional Permadani Diksi KIP Kuliah Nasional
The Permadani Diksi KIP-K Nasional (PDKN) is a forum that accommodates students and alumni who are recipients of the Bidikmisi KIP Kuliah scholarship from all over Indonesia. Every year, PDKN holds a National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) as a high-level forum to discuss the future of the community and preservation efforts. In 2023, Rapimnas was organized by UNTIDAR and carried the theme "Synergizing to Realize a Golden Generation of Leaders." This event was attended by participants from various universities, including Universitas Sumatera Utara, with the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit as one of the representatives, and it involved various activities such as essay competitions, business plan competitions, talk shows, and more.
Arts Workshop
The Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit organized an arts workshop with the theme of exploring the diversity of Indonesian art and culture in the era of globalization. The event, held at the Multipurpose Building of the USU Faculty of Cultural Science, featured various art performances from different regions of Indonesia. Some of the highlights included Dwi Nurul Hasanah, part of the committee, presenting a Javanese song, followed by talent performances by Choiril Alwi and Roland Lumban Tobing, resource persons from the Ethnomusicology Study Program student representatives, who captivated the audience with a performance of Lamen from the Mandailing and Batak Toba ethnic groups. One of the workshop's goals was to raise the younger generation's awareness about the importance of recognizing and preserving Nusantara arts. Several resource persons, participants, and important guests attended the event, including the Coordinator of the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit and students from various study programs at USU.
The Anniversary of the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit
On Monday, March 15, 2020, the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit celebrated its ten-year journey. In a video uploaded to IGTV, the outgoing officials and the newly inaugurated officials for the 2021–2022 period expressed their spirit and new hopes. The video, which has been viewed more than 1,730 times, reflects their optimism about the future of Gamadiksi USU. Arpendi, the General Head of Gamadiksi for the 4th period, shared his prayers and hopes for the organization, "May it always thrive, always succeed, and always excel in carrying out its mission." Meanwhile, each division of the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit also shared their hopes and prayers. The hope is that the Gamadiksi USU Student Activity Unit will become an even better platform in the future, a platform that is beneficial and impactful for everyone, especially for Bidikmisi/KIP-K students, and Gamadiksi continues to protect and help with Bidikmisi/KIP-K information.
