Vice Rector Visits FEB USU, Discusses Facilities and Infrastructure

USU Vice Rector Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar visited FEB USU to discuss infrastructure development, academic facilities, and the optimization of business units as part of the faculty leadership orientation.
HUMAS USU – Vice Rector for Planning, Infrastructure, and Business of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar, S.T., MM.IT., visited business units at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) USU on Monday (11/05/2026).
The visit was part of a series of orientation activities for the new deanship and served as an initial dialogue with faculty leaders regarding plans for the development of facilities, infrastructure, and business units within FEB USU.
“The purpose of this visit is to conduct an initial dialogue with the new leadership regarding development planning, including infrastructure, especially academic facilities and infrastructure,” he stated.
In addition to reviewing academic facilities, the visit also included several business units within FEB USU, including the faculty canteen. The inspection aimed to observe the current condition of the facilities while serving as preliminary material for discussions on the development of business units within the faculty.
Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar expressed his hope that FEB USU would continue to grow through careful planning and optimal facility management.
“We hope the Faculty of Economics and Business can continue to progress beyond its current achievements,” he said.
He also emphasized that the concept of resource sharing is expected to support the collective utilization of academic facilities and infrastructure by the entire USU academic community.
“Especially academic facilities and infrastructure, so they can be utilized by all members of the USU academic community,” he added.
