USU PR - Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., received an audience from Telkom Property to discuss plans for a more environmentally friendly and digital-based building management. The activity took place in the Rector's Bureau Audience Room on Tuesday (3/29/2022).

The Rector said USU would work closely with Telkom Property to realize building maintenance that is environmentally friendly and based on a digital ecosystem.

“This hearing is a discussion of friendship between Telkom Property and USU. Some of the things discussed earlier, such as maintenance management of a building, continue to create a building management ecosystem that is more environmentally friendly and has a digital basis,” the Rector said.

The concept of digital learning center building promoted by USU is pollution-free. The plan, the campus area will be filled with cyclists and pedestrians.

"We actually want to create a pollution-free concept, so we will create a concept for this academic area using bicycles and walking," Muryanto Amin explained.

On the same occasion, the President Director of PT. Graha Sarana Duta Mohammad Firdaus as the representative of Graha Telkom Property said that the plan for this digital learning center building will be evaluated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

"We and the rector have a friendly relationship to discuss the plans that we will do in the future. So later it will be evaluated with the MoU so that the stages in the future will be clearer," Mohammad Firdaus said. He hopes that this meeting can create collaboration between USU and Telkom Property that benefits both parties.

"I think today's meeting is extraordinary because it builds a collaboration between us from Telkom property and USU. So in the future, we hope that this collaboration can be beneficial for both parties,” concluded the President Director of PT. Graha Sarana Duta.
