HUMAS - Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si inaugurated 15 Echelon III and IV Structural Officials at the Universitas Sumatera Utara at the Central Administration Bureau Building on Friday (09/16/2022).

In his remarks, the Rector explained that USU is pushing itself and its strength, racing against time to reach an international standard university classification, and making improvements in all the necessary improvements in various fields. So that the inauguration of this new official can add energy for USU to realize all targets and goals.

"I hope that the inauguration of new officials today will be able to bring new energy and enthusiasm that will increase the strength of the Universitas Sumatera Utara in realizing all its big targets and goals," said Muryanto Amin.

In addition to thanking the old officials who have served at USU, the Rector congratulated and appealed to the newly inaugurated officials to be able to maintain harmony with colleagues so as to create a positive work environment because this could encourage USU's progress in a better direction.

"With this harmony, positive dynamics and a healthy working atmosphere will be created, which will encourage the progress of the Universitas Sumatera Utara to be better and better," he said.

Head of USU's HR Bureau, Dra. Syafnita Hanura Silalahi, MSP explained that the inauguration of new officials is in line with data collection in the context of USU's internationalization and international accreditation. In addition, the placement of new officials to fulfill positions in USU which was previously vacant due to old officials who have retired or died.

"Here we are collecting data for the sake of internationalization and also USU's international accreditation," said the Head of the USU HR Bureau.

Based on the information from the Head of the USU Human Resources Bureau, there are details of 5 officials who were appointed as Head of the Division and 10 people as Head of Sub-section.

One of the newly appointed Heads of Division, Martin Luther Tarigan ST as Head of the Information Systems, Planning, and Development Bureau said that as representatives of the newly inaugurated officials, they will follow the direction and policies of the Rector to make USU an international quality university.
