USU LPT UPT Receives MWA Commission III Visit

USU PR - The Technical Implementation Unit for the Integrated Research Laboratory (UPT LPT) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received a working visit from Commission III of the Board of Trustees (MWA) for Monitoring and Evaluation in order to discuss the performance achievements of UPT LPT.
During the working visit of Commission III MWA on Wednesday (3/30/2022), UPT LPT explained the achievements of LPT in 2021 as well as work program planning, budgeting, and performance targets that have been achieved.
"MWA visit is to provide guidance and evaluation at UPT LPT, in terms of monitoring work program planning and achievements," the Head of UPT. LPT. Ir. Rahmi Karolina, S.T., M.T., said.
According to the Head of UPT LPT, MWA provided very important inputs for improving services, completing samples, streamlining the portion of each worker, as well as equipment maintenance and calibration.
The head of the UPT LPT also hopes that the LPT will become a based income generator to increase income to help USU finances and also optimize the tools in the LPT.
In line with this, the Chairman of Commission III MWA Prof. Dr. Ir.Dharma Bakti, MS hopes that LPT will become one of the income generators for USU and give encouragement to the workers so that USU will gain a reputation in the 500 QS World University Rankings.
"I also hope that LPT will help lecturers and students to produce quality research," he said.
In addition to UPT LPT, MWA will also make visits to the Language Center, International Affairs Office, and Basic Science Laboratory in order to monitor the achievements of each unit at USU. (©ULC)
