USU Hospital Receives Medical Equipment from Sari Incofood

The Hospital (RS) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara received medical equipment assistance in the form of an Infant Incubator and Infant Warmer from PT Sari Incofood Corporation. This assistance is a form of support for USU Hospital in improving medical services, especially neonatal intensive care. The handover took place at the Sibayak Polyclinic of USU Hospital, Thursday (09/08/2022).
In his speech, the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Muryanto Amin., S.Sos., M.Si hopes that the presence of these two types of tools can improve the quality of service to patients in need, especially for health care for infants and toddlers. One of the priority programs in the health sector is the problem of stunting which must be prevented. With efforts to create healthy children it will improve the quality of human resources that affect the quality of development.

Head of the USU Hospital's Children's Functional Medical Unit, Dr. dr. Bugis Mardina Lubis, M.Ked(Ped), SpA(K) received it enthusiastically and hoped that he could continue to serve the community by providing premature baby services.
“The handover of aid kits from PT Sari Incofood Corporation for USU Hospital, especially for neonatal intensive care in the form of Infant Incubator and Infant Warmer. We hope that we can serve the people of Medan, especially for baby services. So far, our tools are still limited, so with this assistance, we will be able to help more babies," he said.
In addition, during the Handover of Medical Device Aid, PT Sari Incofood Corporation Representative Saleh, SE said, the ongoing cooperation with the Universitas Sumatera Utara has been ongoing until now.
