USU PR - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has partnered with Universitas Dharmawangsa. This was stated in the MoU signed by the Rector of USU, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si, and the Rector of Universitas Dharmawangsa Dr. H. Zamaksyari Bin Hasballah Thaib, Lc, MA on Friday (10/02/2023) at the USU Rector Bureau Audience Room.
USU and Universitas Dharmawangsa collaborate on study programs at the Faculty of Law. In his remarks, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si, Rector of the Universitas Sumatera, expressed his optimism that the signing of the MoU will encourage mutual progress, particularly in efforts to build superior generations, contribute to development efforts, and increase welfare.
In line with this, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, remarked that the MoU serves as a framework for the two universities to collaborate. Aside from teaching, it can be expanded into MBKM, research, and other forms of collaboration.

Dr. H. Zamaksyari Bin Hasballah Thaib, Lc., MA, Rector of Universitas Dharmawangsa, indicated that this collaboration might be the start of cooperative actions in terms of research, service and everything in line with the Tri Dharma of higher education.
Dr. H. Zamaksyari Bin Hasballah Thaib, Lc., MA, also hopes that Universitas, with the help of the University of North Sumatra, will improve and serve as a model for other universities in the region.
"We think that USU, as the "Qibla" for universities in Sumatra's northern region, can guide Dharmawangsa so that our university may continue to progress and achieve a higher level in the future," hoped Dharmawangsa's Rector.
