USU PR - The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a peak celebration of the 41st anniversary on Saturday (11/27/2021). This event was marked by a morning walk with USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., Vice Rector II of USU Muhammad Arifin Nasution, S.Sos., M.SP, former Governor of North Sumatra T. Erry Nuradi who is also the Chair of the USU Alumni Association of North Sumatra, the academic community and USU FISIP Alumni.

In his speech, the Rector hopes that FISIP can strengthen the relationship between alumni and can improve their performance even better.

"Strengthen the relationship between alumni so that they can synergize to strengthen performance," he said.

The Rector also hopes that the entire USU FISIP academic community will remain enthusiastic to make FISIP more advanced in the future. In line with this, the Dean of USU FISIP, Drs. Hendra Harahap, M.Sc., PhD said, FISIP will continue to improve achievements and can become a faculty with superior accreditation.

"We want to achieve better, we will support various activities that can improve the performance of faculties to universities in order to support the Rector's work program," Drs. Hendra said.

He also hopes that USU's FISIP students will excel at national and international levels.

"Students are motivated to improve their achievements to make the faculties and universities proud, we will support that," he concluded.

The chairman of the USU FISIP Alumni Association, Hendra Utama, S.Sos., MSP welcomed the 41st Anniversary of USU FISIP. He said alumni are ready to contribute to advancing USU.

The series of Dies Natalis activities carried out included the implementation of blood donation which was held in the USU FISIP Hall.
