Dr. Prima Yosephine graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as part of the Class of 1986. She later pursued a Master's degree in Public Health at the University of Indonesia. Her academic and professional journey demonstrates a longstanding commitment to strengthening Indonesia's healthcare system.
MEDAN – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has once again celebrated the achievements of one of its distinguished alumni at the national level. dr. Prima Yosephine Berliana Tumiur Hutapea, M.K.M., an alumna of the Faculty of Medicine, USU, has been entrusted with the position of Deputy for Systems and Governance at the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi Nasional/BGN).
Her appointment reflects the Indonesian Government's confidence in her professional expertise and extensive experience. Prior to assuming her new role, she served as Director of Immunization Management at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, a position she had held since 29 December 2022.
