Prof. Fidel hopes that the assessment activity this time will get the desired results, as a result of the hard work and dedication of the USU Medical Faculty academic community to USU, and able to get good information, evaluation and recommendations from the assessor team, who of course have very good understanding of the standardization of academic services and public services.
PR USU - LAM-PTKes held an offline field assessment of the Eye Health Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). The activity took place in the USU Medical Faculty Hall, Monday, (8/8/2022). This field assessment is a stage in the accreditation assessment process for the USU FK Eye Health Sciences Study Program.
Secretary of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG(K) in his speech said, with this assessment, it further increases the trust of the community as a quality educational institution for their children with developments that are according to standards in the department of eye health at USU Faculty of Medicine.
Prof. Fidel hopes that the assessment activity this time will get the desired results, as a result of the hard work and dedication of the USU Medical Faculty academic community to USU, and able to get good information, evaluation and recommendations from the assessor team, who of course have very good understanding of the standardization of academic services and public services.
"Hopefully this assessment will produce the best results for the eye health study program," he mentioned.
LAM-PTKes Assessor Team dr. Purjanto Tepo Utomo, Sp.M(K) said that there are 9 assessment criteria that must be met by eye health science at USU Medical Faculty with LAM-PTKes standards, namely Vision, Mission, Goals and Strategies, Governance, Governance and Cooperation, Students , Human Resources, Finance, Facilities and Infrastructure, Education, Research, Community Service, Outcomes and Achievements.
"The form of the assessment criteria this time is in accordance with the 9 standard criteria of LAM-PTKes," he said.
One of the other assessors, Dr. dr. Seskoati Prayitnaningsih, Sp.M(K) said that with this assessment, the USU FK Eye Health Sciences Study Program hopes to improve its quality from before so that it can gain more trust from the public, especially the people of North Sumatra to implement their knowledge.
