Universitas Sumatera Utara held a morning assembly at the USU Rectorate Courtyard on Monday (18/5/2026). The event served as a moment to highlight student achievements and strengthen collaboration among the university’s academic community.

In her remarks, Secretary of the Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Fatwa Imelda, S.Kep., Ns., M.Biomed., M.Kep., representing the Director of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Purwoko S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., conveyed various achievements earned by USU students at both international and national levels.

“USU students have successfully achieved various accomplishments at both international and national levels, and this is a source of pride for all of us,” she stated.

Dr. Fatwa Imelda explained that these achievements were the result of collaboration and synergy among directorates, faculties, and study programs within USU.

“We continue to encourage collaboration among directorates, faculties, and study programs to further improve student achievements in various competitions,” she explained.

She also added that USU is currently preparing for participation in several upcoming competitions, including international events involving universities from various countries.

“In the near future, USU students will participate in various competitions, including international activities involving collaboration with several countries,” she added.

Furthermore, she encouraged all members of the academic community, especially students, to continue improving their achievements and actively document every accomplishment they attain.

“Keep achieving. Every accomplishment should be properly documented as part of students’ self-development,” she said.

Through this morning assembly, it is hoped that the entire academic community of Universitas Sumatera Utara will continue strengthening the spirit of collaboration and achievement in supporting the university’s progress.
