USU Closes 2025 with Achievements: Six Awards at the Diktisaintek Awards

USU PR – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully maintained its outstanding achievements by winning several awards at the prestigious Diktisaintek Awards 2025, held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) Building in Jakarta on the evening of December 19, 2025.
This year, USU brought home six awards across various categories, reflecting strengthened institutional performance in public communication, integrated services, protocol affairs, and cooperation management.
The awards received by USU included, in the Public Relations Award Category, Gold for the Integrated Service Unit and Public Relations Personnel, Silver for the website and press releases, and Bronze for the Protocol Award Category. Meanwhile, in the Cooperation Award Category, USU secured Gold for Laporkema.
The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Brian Yuliarto, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to universities that demonstrated a strong commitment to transforming national higher education.

After receiving the prestigious trophy, USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., stated that this achievement serves as a driving force for USU to continue strengthening a work culture oriented toward service quality, public trust, and tangible impact for society.
“This award is both a mandate and a motivation for Universitas Sumatera Utara to continue moving forward in the spirit of transformation. We believe that higher education institutions must be able to build public trust through professional services, open communication, and strong collaboration. This achievement is also the result of the collective efforts of all elements of USU who continuously strive to deliver real impact,” said Prof. Muryanto Amin.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations, Protocol, and Integrated Services of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Amalia Meutia, M.Psi., Psychologist, expressed her gratitude and pride for USU’s achievements at the Diktisaintek Awards 2025, marking a proud close to the year.
“With deep gratitude and pride, the Public Relations, Protocol, and Integrated Services Unit of Universitas Sumatera Utara is able to present five awards for USU as a closing milestone for 2025. This achievement strengthens our belief that dedication, consistency, and collective effort carried out wholeheartedly can deliver the best results,” said Amalia.
According to her, this achievement would not have been possible without the support of the university leadership and the synergy with various work units within USU that continue to move forward together under a shared vision.
Through this achievement, Universitas Sumatera Utara reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving the quality of institutional communication, public services, and the strengthening of strategic cooperation, in line with the direction of national higher education transformation.
