Public Relations USU - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) once again held USU Career Days 2025 which took place on Wednesday and Thursday, (07-08/05/2025) at the USU Student Center. This activity is a strategic initiative organized by the USU Research and Innovation Development Agency (BPRI) to bridge alumni with business and industry.

In her remarks, Vice Rector III of USU, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt. She expressed her appreciation to the leaders of partner companies for their active participation in this activity. She also thanked BPRI USU and all parties who have contributed to the success of this annual event. According to him, USU Career Days not only function as a job fair but also as a strategic activity that strengthens the synergy between the academic and professional worlds.

More than just opening access to job opportunities, USU Career Days is also designed to encourage students and alumni to design their professional future purposefully. This activity provides a real space for job seekers to find positions that match their educational background, experience, and competencies.

Meanwhile, BPRI USU's Manager of Entrepreneurship and Career Development, Ami Dilham, S.E., M.Si., explained that the main objective of USU Career Days is to gather companies from various sectors in Indonesia to recruit USU alumni directly.

Furthermore, Ami Dilham, S.E., M.Si., added that several previous job fairs satisfied many companies because they managed to get potential candidates from USU alumni. She hopes that alumni who have successfully obtained jobs through USU Career Days can provide feedback to the campus in the future. This is important as a basis for evaluating and improving the quality of activities.

“We also hope that alumni who have found jobs through this activity can provide feedback to the campus as a basis for evaluating and improving the quality of future activities,” said Ami Dilham.
