PR USU - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) cooperates with PT. Djaja Prima walnut. This is stated in a memorandum of understanding signed by USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos., M.Si with the Director of PT Kenari Djaja Prima, Hendry Sjarifudin at the Office of the Rector of USU, Monday (8/8/2022).

The Rector of USU said this activity is collaboration between the world of education and the world of industry, because the industrial world will enter the classroom as a supporter of learning by providing practical knowledge or field experience.

The Rector also hopes that this collaboration can further expand the opportunities and opportunities for USU students and graduates to increase their capacity and skills, in line with existing progress and changes.

"With this collaboration, it will further expand the opportunities for students or alumni to increase their skill capacity," he said.

Director of PT Kenari Djaja Prima, Hendry Sjarifudin supports the government's program, namely Merdeka Learn Campus Merdeka (MBKM) by providing knowledge in the form of practice or in the field, so students do not have to get knowledge in class only.

"We really support this MBKM program by providing practical knowledge or field science," he said.

Director of PT. Kenari is also very happy because he can participate in educating students to become qualified architects on an international scale, thereby producing better quality buildings and designs in the future.
