In the series of 56th Anniversary of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), the committee held a distribution of basic necessities for cleaning staff and educational staff in the USU FIB environment, Tuesday (8/24).

She explained that the concept of sharing was intended to further establish togetherness and concern among fellow USU FIB academicians. With the creation of care, it will create a close relationship.

“Hopefully the donations from the USU FIB lecturers will become a bridge of friendship so that the kinship between employees and lecturers will increase. This kinship is crucial so that the work program launched by the USU FIB in the next five years can be more optimal,” she said.

Chairman of the Committee from the 56th Anniversary of USU FIB, Dr. Gustianingsih, M.Hum said that from the donations collected from the lecturers, approximately 117 food packages were collected. “In addition to employees in the USU FIB environment, we also handed over packages for online motorcycle taxis and some local residents,” she said.

She said that the 56th Anniversary of USU’s FIB in 2021 was scheduled for several activities, including poetry reading competitions for lecturers and students, study program cleanliness competitions, international seminars, national seminars and scientific orations.
