In a meeting full of the warmth of that intimacy, both sides discuss the cooperation agenda that will be built between USU and BSI. The rector said, BSI is one of the banking partners of USU. The presence of the bank owned by the government will certainly have a positive impact on the development of USU.

“Some of the collaborations that have been established include the internship program, Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM),” said the rector. The Rector hopes that cooperation with BSI can improve education services in particular in banking management.

So far the rector assessed positively the cooperation that has developed, especially in the internship program where there are currently 15 USU students undergoing the program. “Yes, we hope that after the internship, USU students can be accepted immediately officers,”said the rector.

BSI Regional CEO Joni Haryanto thanked the Rector of USU for accepting hospitality visit. He explained, USU is a strategic partner of BSI and has been work well together.

“We hope there are ongoing programs, for example, literacy education sharia banking to the millennial generation. This is important, because growth of the millennial currently is very good,” he said.

Joni Haryanto explained, currently BSI is also developing a service system digital banking to facilitate banking transactions. “We look forward to this program as well can synergize with USU,” he said. (ULC)
