PR USU - Rector of the University of North Sumatra (USU) Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos., M.Sc. inaugurated Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology for the term of 2022-2026, Sarah Purnamawati, ST., MSc.

The inauguration was held at the Multipurpose Hall Building, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom –TI) USU, on Thursday (7/28/2022).

In his remarks, the USU Rector said that it is the job of vice dean II to develop human resources (HR), especially in the fields of research, publication, and collaboration.

So that it can improve human resources in the Fasilkom-IT environment for the better and help USU towards the Top 500 World Class University (WCU).

In addition, the Vice Dean II must also pay attention to the existing infrastructure in the Fasilkom-IT environment.

The Rector also hoped that after the inauguration he would be able to provide solutions to problems in the field of HR, support university programs and support indicators to support USU towards the Top 500 World Class University.

"I hope that with this inauguration, we will be able to support USU towards the Top 500 WCU," he said.

Dean of Fasilkom-IT Dr. Maya Silvi Lydia B.Sc., M.Sc., also hopes that the inauguration of the Vice Dean II can help other vice deans and help increase HR targets in the Fasilkom-IT environment so that USU is in the Top 500 World Class University.

"I hope that human resources in the Fasilkom-IT environment will increase," she said.

Deputy Dean II Sarah Purnamawati, ST., MSc., said that she would immediately implement the pending work program and would support USU towards the Top 500 World Class University by increasing human resources within the Fasilkom-IT environment. (©ULC)
