Plantation Holding (PTPN II, PTPN III, PTPN IV) to the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Hospital to improve services at the hospital, Thursday (12/30/21).
USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si. thanked PTPN II, III, and IV for their attention to the medical team through the assistance of medical devices provided to support community health service activities.
"Hopefully this assistance can be put to good use according to its designation by the USU Hospital medical team in supporting the medical services provided by USU Hospital to the community," he said.
With this activity, the Rector hopes that the assistance in the form of Medical Devices can complement and improve the quality of services at USU Hospital.
"First of all, this assistance is to improve services at USU Hospital, the second is a form of concern from PT Perkebunan Holding PTPN II, III, and IV to the environment in North Sumatra so USU Hospital was chosen and given assistance which is part of the company's responsibility to the community," he said.
Director of USU Hospital Dr. dr. Henry Salim Siregar Sp. OG(K) explained that the assistance provided was Rp. 700 million for 20 bed sets, monitors and so on. He also hopes that this assistance can improve the service quality of USU Hospital by not leaving its three main functions, namely education, research and service.
“This assistance is to improve services because USU Hospital is now oriented to how to become one of the hospitals that USU can be proud of to provide services to the community without leaving education. Because, this hospital was established its function is for education, research and service. We will definitely improve our service in the future. Education cannot progress if the service is not advanced and vice versa,” he explained.
The Department Head of PTPN II Corporate Secretariat Henny Mailena Siregar explained that this assistance can improve the health status of the people of North Sumatra and the PTPN Group will be more victorious.
"PTPN II wants to share with the community, in this case, it wants to realize that North Sumatra has a healthy community and shows that PTPN Group must be able to share in the form of CSR," he explained.
Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Operation PTPN III Darmansyah Siregar also hopes that with this assistance USU Hospital can improve the quality of services, especially to the community.
"The assistance of PTPN III Medan is to complete the tools and equipment at the USU Hospital in order to improve health services to the community, especially the people in Medan and generally in North Sumatra," he said.
PTPN IV Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Joni Raja Siregar said that this activity is a form of concern from PTPN Holding Group to USU Hospital to provide optimal service to the community.
"This is a form of CSR from PTPN IV to USU Hospital which is a discussion between the Rector and the Director of Holding, so we apply this together thanks to PTPN II, III, IV we have made one and we provide medical equipment facilities to the target hospital.
