HUMAS USU – The Independent Accreditation Agency for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences (LAMSPAK) conducted a field assessment for the accreditation process of the Undergraduate Business Administration Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), on Monday (18/05/2026) at FISIP USU.

In his remarks, the Secretary of USU, Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., expressed appreciation for the presence of the assessor team and hoped that the entire assessment process would run smoothly.

“We would like to welcome the LAMSPAK assessor team to Universitas Sumatera Utara and hope that the entire series of field assessments can proceed well and provide the best results for the study program,” he said.

Meanwhile, the LAMSPAK assessor team explained that the field assessment was carried out to verify the documents previously submitted by the study program and faculty to LAMSPAK.

“This field assessment is conducted to review and verify the suitability of the documents previously submitted with the actual conditions in the field,” explained the assessor team.

The assessors also emphasized that the assessment was not intended as an audit, but rather to ensure consistency between the submitted documents and the actual conditions.

“This activity is not an audit, but part of the clarification and verification process of the data and documents that have been submitted,” they added.

In addition, the assessors provided recommendations regarding several aspects that still needed to be completed in the accreditation documents.

“There are still several sections that need to be completed and strengthened so that the accreditation documents can become more optimal,” the assessors stated.

Through this field assessment, it is hoped that the accreditation process for the Undergraduate Business Administration Study Program will proceed smoothly and achieve the expected results for both the study program and the university.
