USU PR- Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an audience and an extension of the cooperation agreement between the USU International Affairs Office and the Polonia Class I TPI Immigration Office. This activity occurred in the USU Chancellor's Audience Room on Monday (11/20/2023).
Prof. Dr. Rudy Sofyan S.S., M.Hum., as the USU International Affairs Office, conveyed the purpose of this implementation is to follow the government regulations and support the internationalization of the USU campus.
This cooperation is carried out to expand and improve immigration services that will help USU students for comparative studies abroad.
Prof. Dr. Rudy Sofyan S.S., M.Hum. said the service will also be expanded for lecturers and researchers who will collaborate with USU.
"The service will also be expanded to help lecturers or researchers from outside who will collaborate with lecturers at USU," he said.
The Head of the Immigration Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of North Sumatra, Yan Wely Wiguna, called USU an asset that must be developed and assisted in terms of its services.
"We consider USU as an asset that we must develop, that we must help to serve," he said.
Yan Wely Wiguna hopes this cooperation can facilitate immigration services, especially for the academic community at USU.
"With this cooperation, we hope that immigration services will be easier, migration will be easier to reach, especially for the academic community at USU," he concluded.
