USU PR - Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si paid a working visit to the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG). The visit discussed Strengthening the Tridharma Towards the Top 500 (Five Hundred) World Class University (WCU) at the USU FKG which was held on Wednesday (7/20/2022).

The USU Rector said that this working visit was a socialization so that FKG could help USU reach the top 500 World Class University by publishing research journals on Scopus. As well as generalizing perceptions and steps to support USU to be more advanced in the future.

"This socialization is done so that FKG can help USU to get to the top 500 world class university," said the USU Rector.

The Rector also hopes that the USU FKG academic community will be able to understand the assessment indicators to support USU to get better grades in the future, then plan programs and carry out the program continuously so that all indicators are met.

"I hope that the academic community will be able to understand the existing indicators to support USU to be better," he said.

USU FKG Dean Dr. drg. Essie Octiara Sp.KGA said that FKG will make improvements and evaluations of the achievements that have been achieved to support USU towards the top 500 World Class University.

"USU FKG will make improvements to support USU towards the top 500 WCU," he said.

The Dean of USU's FKG also said that the FKG would expand in the field of community service in the international arena both online and offline. And also hopes that the entire FKG academic community will be able to work together to run the program and one lecturer will be able to publish an accredited journal on Scopus. (©ULC)
