"This means that we commemorate the symbol of Pancasila, which on September 30 occurred the G30S PKI rebellion. Then on the other day, everything can be taken over, showing the name of the Pancasila Power. Since the first since before independence, Pancasila has even experienced many trials. But never fail in every trial, even Pancasila continues to be a belief," said the Rector of USU.

USU PR - Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Commemoration Ceremony of the Pancasila Sanctity Day in the courtyard of the USU Central Administrative Bureau Building on Saturday (10/01/2022).


Running solemnly and smoothly, the ceremony was attended by USU's academics. Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si said that the commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day could not be separated from the events of the G30S/PKI rebellion.


Until the Indonesian people, showed that the existence of the supernatural power of Pancasila on October 1, 1966. Pancasila will always be a belief that Indonesia is a multicultural country and mutual respect for differences.

Furthermore, the Rector of USU hopes that Pancasila, which is the guideline for the life of the nation and state, can enable the Indonesian people to be able to manage the existing diversity by applying mutual respect, mutual respect, and tolerance.


"Pancasila remains our guide for the state and the Indonesian people to be strong as human beings or citizens who accept diversity and citizens who can manage diversity," said the USU Rector. (©ULC)
