USU PR - The Institute for Self-Accreditation of Business Management Economics and Accounting (LAMEMBA) held a field assessment of the Doctoral Program in Accounting Science, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). This activity occurred in the FEB Hall on Thursday (07/13/2023).

Vice Rector I of USU, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., welcomed the two teams of assessors from LAMEMBA, namely Prof. Dr. Hamfri Djajadikerta from Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), and Prof. Dr. Nugraha, S.E., M.Si., Akt., CA., CPA. from the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

In his remarks, Vice Rector-I highly appreciated the achievements of the Doctoral Program in Accounting Science, which has published 500 papers in the last three years.

"We get information in the last three years, more than 500 international publications recorded in accounting science. Hopefully, this will be one of the considerations for seeing the growth graph," The Vice-Rector explained.

Furthermore, the Dean of FEB, Dr. Fadli SE., M.Si., said that the Faculty had prepared everything related to this field assessment, such as documents. In this case, Doctoral Program in Accounting Science is also preparing for internationalization.

"This year, there will be acceptance for foreign students, doctoral master programs at FEB USU," explained Dr. Fadli.

On the same occasion, Prof. Dr. Hamfri Djajadikerta, as the assessor team, conveyed the things that became the assessment of this field assessment by looking at the outcome process that FEB had carried out.

"We are qualitative. We see everything related to the outcome process here," said Prof. Hamfri.
