"USU PR - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) again inaugurated three professors who took place at the USU Student Center on Tuesday (15/08/2023). The professors who were inaugurated directly by USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos., M.Si., namely Prof. Dr. Delvian, S.P, M.P from the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Ayodhia Pitaloka Pasaribu, M.Ked (Ped), SpA (K), Ph.D (CTM) from the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya, S.Si, M.Si from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. In his remarks, the USU Rector congratulated the three professors who had been inaugurated and expected the innovative work of the USU Professors in supporting USU as a world-class university, especially in organizing to strengthen the educational ecosystem. "I congratulate the professors who have been inaugurated and their families. We are waiting for the innovative work of the professors of Universitas Sumatera Utara to continue to support USU as a world-class university, especially in organizing and strengthening the educational ecosystem," explained the USU Rector. Looking at the current situation, the USU Rector said that since the end of the pandemic, countries in the world have changed the way they manage the order of human life, such as on environmental issues. Each country must prepare a base of infrastructure and human resources in producing goods and services needed in the future for the sustainability of the world. Such as the same standardization even though the types of products produced are different. For this reason, the USU Rector continues to encourage professors to carry out tridharma tasks that will advance education in Indonesia. "Since the end of the pandemic, countries in the world have changed the way they manage the order of human life. Environmental issues have become very sensitive in producing the provision of goods and services needed for the sustainability of the world. One of the most important things so that we have equal association with the world community is the same standardization even though the types of products produced are different," explained the USU Rector. Engaged in the field of Tropical Infection which is the excellence of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. dr. Ayodhia Pitaloka Pasaribu, M.Ked (Ped), SpA (K), Ph.D (CTM) is committed to prioritizing educational research cooperation by producing the latest discoveries for the advancement of society. "Because I am engaged in tropical infections and that is the excellence of the Faculty of Medicine, we will continue to prioritize educational research cooperation to produce new discoveries, especially for the advancement of society," explained Prof. Dr. Ayodhia Pitaloka Pasaribu, M.Ked (Ped), SpA (K), Ph.D (CTM). Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Delvian, S.P, M.P hopes that in the future he can make a maximum contribution in terms of research, education, and service to benefit the surrounding nature. One of them is the potential of microbes to help plant growth in marginal conditions. "What is clear is that the main motivation is to develop what we have. As I was talking about the microbial problem, we have very potential microbes that can be used to help plant growth in marginal conditions. we must be able to contribute more not only in terms of education but also research and service, "said Prof. Dr. Delvian, S.P, M.P. Prof. Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya, S.Si, M.Si also hopes to be a role model in terms of research and community service so that research results can be used by the community.
