Rector of USU, Muryanto Amin, congratulated all participants who successfully passed the UTBK-SNBT 2026 selection.
“We would like to congratulate all students who passed the UTBK-SNBT 2026. This achievement is the result of your hard work and perseverance. Make your time in higher education an opportunity to build integrity, broaden your knowledge, and strengthen your leadership,” the Rector stated.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, encouraged participants who were not accepted through the SNBT pathway not to lose hope. She emphasized that there are still opportunities to enter USU through two additional admission pathways: the Independent Selection Consortium of Western Indonesia State Universities (SMM PTN Barat) and the USU Independent Admission Selection (SMM USU) 2026.
Both programs provide opportunities for high school graduates to compete for the remaining seats available at USU.
“There are still great opportunities for those who wish to become USU students through the SMM and SMM PTN Barat pathways. Hopefully, they will achieve success through these admission routes,” said Prof. Poppy Anjelisa in an official USU statement to the media.
Registration for the SMM PTN Barat pathway has been open from 4 May to 11 June 2026. Information regarding registration procedures and selection implementation can be accessed through SMM PTN Barat Registration Portal.
Meanwhile, registration for the USU Independent Admission Selection has been open from 2 May to 10 June 2026, with further information available at USU Integrated Admission Portal.
Prospective students who have been accepted through the 2026 SNBT pathway are required to complete the registration process and fill in the online Single Tuition Fee (UKT) data form.
The submission of personal data and document uploads must be completed online through USU Registration Portal from 25 May to 2 June 2026.
“We hope all prospective students carefully pay attention to every schedule and stage of the registration process. Missing any important deadlines may result in cancellation of admission, causing all their hard work and efforts to go to waste,” Prof. Poppy concluded.
