Second Tender Announcement: Selection of a Cooperation Partner for the Utilization of the Former Library Canteen Building of USU

The Committee for the Selection of Cooperation Partners for the Utilization of Assets Owned by Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is reopening the Second Tender for the selection of a partner to manage the Kantin Talenta, located at the Former Library Canteen Building on Jalan Perpustakaan No. 1, Padang Bulan, Medan City. This initiative is part of USU’s efforts to optimize the use of its assets, particularly a ±56 m² building formerly used as a canteen. The cooperation scheme includes renovation and management of the Kantin Talenta as a hub for culinary business activities within the campus.
The required minimum investment for prospective cooperation partners (KSP) is Rp966,056,200.00. In addition, the partner must contribute a fixed amount of at least Rp5,000,000 annually and share at least 10% of their annual sales revenue with the university. The partnership agreement is ten years from the signing date and may be extended upon mutual agreement.
This selection process is open to both legal entities and non-legal business entities. The second announcement will be held on July 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM (WIB). Registration and document collection can be done from July 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM to July 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Office of the Business Management Agency of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Jalan Universitas No. 6, Padang Bulan, Medan City. The explanation or aanwijzing session will occur on July 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while submission of proposal documents is scheduled for July 10 to 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Through this tender, USU invites all interested parties to utilize university assets to advance the campus entrepreneurial ecosystem.
