SMM PTN-BARAT 2022 is an independent selection of new student candidates conducted collaboratively by state universities within BKS-PTN Indonesia Western Region. The selection is based on the results of the computer-based written test (UTBK) under the coordination of the PTN-West SMM committee.

Requirements

a. Registration

1. Graduates of SMA / SMK / MA or equivalent or holders of Package C diploma.

2. For graduates of SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent and Package C in 2022, have a Certificate of Graduation that contains at least identity information, a photo of the person concerned, and an official validation stamp.

3. Applicants must be in good health so as not to interfere with the learning process in their study program.

4. Diplomas are the last 3 years of 2020, 2021, and 2022 except for:

- UMRAH, UNJA, UTU and Unimal the diploma year is the last 5 years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022);

- ISBI Aceh accepts the diploma year of the last 10 years, starting from the diploma from 2013 to 2022 and Package C with a maximum age of 35 years; and

- UPR the last 3 years (2020, 2021, and 2022) for the Faculty of Medicine and the last 5 years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022) for other faculties and package C with a maximum age of 25 years.

Registration Procedure

1. Registration for SMM PTN-BARAT 2022 is conducted online.

2. Applicants must complete the written exam and portfolio registration form on the website https://pendaftaran.smmptnbarat.id/ by entering all the required data correctly.

3. Registration starts from April 1 to June 27, 2022, at 16:00 WIB. For SMM PTN-West 2022 exam participants who have paid the registration fee no later than June 27, 2022, at 16:00 WIB but have not completed filling out the online registration form, are allowed to complete it and make a permanent save no later than June 28, 2022, at 14:00 WIB and the deadline for printing participant cards on June 28, 2022, at 14:00 WIB.

4. Participants who took the 2022 SBMPTN are required to enter the 2022 SBMPTN test number in the designated field during online registration

Examination Categories

The exam is carried out in the form of a Computer-Based Written Exam. The types of exams in SMM PTN-West Region 2022 are divided into 2 (two) as follows:

- Science and Technology Exam Group (Saintek) with TPS, English, and TKA Saintek exam materials (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

- Social and Humanities (Soshum) Exam Group with TPS, English and TKA Soshum exam materials (Geography, History, Sociology, and Economics).

Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) Registration and Selection Fee

- The registration and selection fee is IDR 350,000.

- Registration and selection fees can be paid through authorized partner banks at the specified time.

- Registration and selection fees that have been paid CANNOT be withdrawn for any reason.

Study Program Selections

1. Participants can choose a maximum of 2 (two) study program options at one or more participating state universities. The first choice of PTN does not have to be the location where the applicant take the written test. During the Covid-19 pandemic as it is today, the exam location is chosen at the location closest to the participant's current domicile.
