PROCEDURE FOR RE-REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS ADMITTED THROUGH THE 2024 SMM PTN BARAT SELECTION PATHWAY
It is hereby announced that all prospective new students of Universitas Sumatera Utara who have been admitted through the Seleksi Mandiri Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Wilayah Barat (SMM PTN BARAT) 2024 are required to complete their registration and fill in the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Online data according to the following activity stages:
I. REGISTRATION & UKT DATA SUBMISSION
Basic data entry and document upload must be done online at https://registrasi.usu.ac.id from July 12 to July 19, 2024. The documents to be uploaded during registration include:
- Passport-sized photo with a white background, dimensions 400x600 pixels (maximum 1 MB);
- Original SMM PTN BARAT 2024 exam participant card;
- Original P1, P2, and P3 Declaration Forms, completed correctly, affixed with an Rp10,000 stamp, and signed (Forms can be downloaded from https://registrasi.usu.ac.id);
- Graduation Certificate (SKL) or SKHUN for 2024 graduates (must be legalized and stamped with a photo by the school); original diploma for 2023 and 2022 graduates;
- Family Card (KK);
- Identity Card (KTP) or Student ID Card (KTS);
UKT data submission can only be made after completing and finalizing (submitting) the basic data entry on https://registrasi.usu.ac.id.
The UKT data entry and document upload must be done via https://uktdatareg.usu.ac.id from July 12 to July 19, 2024. The required documents include:
- Salary slip or latest income statement of the financial supporter;
- Identity Card of the financial supporter;
- Family Card of the financial supporter;
- Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) of the financial supporter;
- Latest Land and Building Tax (PBB) payment receipt for the financial supporter's residence;
- Latest Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payment receipt of the financial supporter;
- Latest Electricity bill/token receipt of the financial supporter's residence;
- Latest Water bill of the financial supporter's residence;
- Latest Personal and/or Business Tax Report (SPT) of the financial supporter;
- Photos of the residence, including front view, left side, and right side, each showing RT/RW number or other identifying details proving the house's existence;
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Prospective students must regularly check the websites https://registrasi.usu.ac.id and https://uktdatareg.usu.ac.id to monitor verification results (Accepted/Rejected).
Failure to complete re-registration within the scheduled period may result in admission cancellation.
Prospective students must carefully read and accurately complete the registration and UKT data entry guidelines. Any errors may result in academic sanctions. If document re-verification is needed, students may be required to submit physical (hardcopy) documents to USU (if necessary).

II. UKT PAYMENT
From July 26 to July 27, 2024, you can check the verification results of UKT data and Virtual Account issuance at https://registrasi.usu.ac.id.
UKT payments must be made via Virtual Account from July 28 to July 31, 2024.
III. COURSE REGISTRATION (KRS)
Students who have completed a medical check-up at the USU Polyclinic in Gedung Pancasila may proceed to the Information System Center (PSI) Building on the same day for Course Registration (KRS) guidance.
Student Identification Number (NIM) and password for accessing the Academic Portal (https://satu.usu.ac.id) will be available at https://registrasi.usu.ac.id. \
The Academic Portal is used for online KRS submission, which can be done one day after UKT payment.
Each faculty member will receive a tutorial on using USU’s e-learning system during the New Student Orientation Program (PKKMB).
Classes will start in August 2024. Students will receive class schedule information through their respective faculties before the semester begins.
Once students obtain their NIM, they can print a temporary Student ID Card (KTM) via https://registrasi.usu.ac.id.
IV. DRUG-FREE AND HEALTH EXAMINATIONS
Drug-free and health examinations will be conducted at Gedung Pancasila, Jl. Universitas, USU Campus.
A. Drug-Free Examination
This will take place at Gedung Pancasila, Jl. Universitas, USU Campus from July 29 to August 2, 2024. After re-registration, further details will be provided (Examination Number will be provided at https://registrasi.usu.ac.id).
Students must pay Rp200,000 for the drug test via Bank BRI Account No. 005301003451300 (DANA KELOLAAN RS USU) with the description “Drug Test for New SMM PTN BARAT Students (Student Name).”
The original payment receipt must be printed and brought to the drug test session.
Students on prescribed medications must bring their medicines on the examination day.
Students outside Medan, Binjai, and Deli Serdang (MEBIDANG) may conduct the drug test at any Government Hospital but must bring the results to USU during the health check-up. Tests must be performed within 14 days before the health examination.
B. Health Examination
The health check-up will be conducted at Gedung Pancasila, USU Campus, from August 5 to August 9, 2024. After re-registration, further details will be provided (Examination Number will be provided at https://registrasi.usu.ac.id).
ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS:
UKT and Institutional Development Fees (IPI) are non-refundable.
Students failing to complete reporting within the specified timeframe may have their admission revoked.
All students must comply with the scheduled deadlines.
