CONCERNING

CHANGE OF THE DECREE OF THE RECTOR OF UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARANUMBER 526/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2023

CONCERNING THE AMOUNT OF ADMINISTRATION FEE FOR POSTPONEMENT OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES (PKA) IN UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA

RECTOR OF UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA

 

Considering:
a. that based on the provisions of Article 76 paragraph (3) of Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education, higher education institutions or higher education organizers receive payments that students partially bear to finance their studies in accordance with the ability of the students, their parents, or the parties financing them;
b. that in order to implement the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the Standard Unit Cost of Higher Education Operational Costs at State Universities within the Ministry of Education and Culture;
c. that based on the considerations as referred to in letters a and b, it is necessary to establish the Rector's Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara regarding the Amendment of the Rector's Decision of Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 526/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2023 concerning the Amount of Administrative Fees for the Postponement of Academic Activities (PKA) within Universitas Sumatera Utara 

 

Remembering:
1. Law Number 20 of 2003 on the National Education System (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2003 Number 78, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4301);
2. Law Number 12 of 2012 on Higher Education (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2012 Number 158, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5336);
3. Government Regulation Number 4 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Higher Education and the Management of Higher Education Institutions (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2014 Number 16, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5500);
4. Government Regulation Number 16 of 2014 concerning the Statute of Universitas Sumatera Utara (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2014 Number 42, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5510);
5. Government Regulation Number 26 of 2015 concerning the Form and Mechanism of Funding for State Legal Entity Universities as amended by Government Regulation Number 8 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 26 of 2015 concerning the Form and Mechanism of Funding for State Legal Entity Universities (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2020 Number 28, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6460);
6. Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2020 concerning the Standard Operational Costs of Higher Education at State Universities within the Ministry of Education and Culture (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2020 Number 642);
7. Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 81/E/KPT/2020 concerning Single Tuition Fees at State Universities in the Form of Universities and Institutes;
8. Regulation of the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Financial Management of Universitas Sumatera Utara; and
9. The Rector's Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 526/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2023 Regarding the Amount of Administrative Fees for the Postponement of Academic Activities (PKA) within the Universitas Sumatera Utara.

 

DECIDES:

To stipulate: DECREE OF THE RECTOR OF UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA ON THE AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE RECTOR OF UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA NUMBER 526/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2023 ON THE AMOUNT OF ADMINISTRATION FEE FOR POSTPONEMENT OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES (PKA) IN UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA

 

FIRST: To amend the First Dictum of the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 526/UN5.1.R/SK/KEU/2023 concerning the Amount of Administrative Fee for Postponement of Academic Activities (PKA) in Universitas Sumatera Utara;

SECOND: Changes to the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara as stated in the FIRST DICTUM are made to the amount of administrative costs for Postponement of Academic Activities (PKA) per semester by eliminating costs for the Diploma Three/Vocational Program and Undergraduate Program levels;

THIRD: This Decree shall come into effect from the submission of Active Return to Lectures (AKK) for the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
