"This is also a process of transferring knowledge and transferring information and experience to the Nursing study program," said the Chancellor.

USU PR - The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a Nurse Education Accreditation Assessment to strengthen the Nursing Science Study Program and the Nurse Profession so that it can provide confidence in academic and non-academic activities. The activity was held online on Monday (07/02/2022).

USU Rector, Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos, M.Si hopes that this assessment can be a process of transfer of knowledge and transfer of experience to manage educational services in specific study programs.

"This is also a process of transferring knowledge and transferring information and experience to the Nursing study program," he said.

According to him, based experience from assessors is essential to be shared and transmitted.

"Assessors have a lot of information and experience done elsewhere that can be shared here," he said.

The Chancellor hopes that the Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program can achieve superior accreditation. "Administratively, there are many difficulties in the field, but the team for compiling the forms is already strong," he said.

He also said that USU is currently in the process of transforming to strengthen national and international accreditation. So, according to him, the transformation process makes USU have to have strengthened, especially in the academic process.

"We will provide maximum service," he said.

One of the assessors from the Faculty of Nursing, Padjadjaran University, Kusman Ibrahim, S.Kp., M.NS, Ph.D, said that the Nursing Profession Study Program had passed the adequacy assessment and was continued with an online field assessment.

"Procedurally, the assessor team will read the assessor's code of ethics and field rules online," he said.
