UPP and USU TV Ready to Produce Digital Learning Content

“We are very interested in the pattern of learning, production and also the atmosphere at USU TV. We hope that this visit will increase knowledge about the broadcasting world,” Ely said.
USU PR - The Education Development Unit (UPP) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) visited the USU TV editorial room and studio in the USU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) building. The visit was in preparation for the creation of microlearning and digital learning content carried out by the UPP, on Friday (01/07/2022).
Secretary of USU UPP Ely Hayati Nasution, S.S, M.Si., said this visit was a follow-up to the direction of USU Rector Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., for the development of learning innovations. The visit to USU TV is expected to give birth to inspiration and input for making rooms according to broadcasting standards.
“We are very interested in the pattern of learning, production and also the atmosphere at USU TV. We hope that this visit can increase knowledge about the broadcasting world," he said.
Ely Hayati Nasution added, in 2022 UPP will focus on the learning innovation development program, especially in making project-based learning materials that will support the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and USU Strategic Plan.
"We will upload this digital and microlearning content to Spada Dikti which in the future targets KPI, where lecturer activities can be recognized or used for the wider community," said Ely.
Coordinator for Material Development, M. Hadyan Yunhas Purba, S.H., M.H said, UPP will hold microlearning program training for all lecturers. He hopes that all lecturers at USU can collaborate with USU TV in creating this content.
"Hopefully all lecturers at USU can collaborate with USU TV in this program," he said.
Responding to UPP's visit, USU TV Coordinator Irsan Mulyadi, S.Sos., M.Ikom said USU TV really supports the program that will be made by UPP.
"We are ready to collaborate and work with UPP and USU lecturers," he said.
Irsan added that USU TV will facilitate the targets and programs that UPP wants to achieve.
"We will convey the knowledge we get through learning, training, content, and so on according to UPP's needs," he continued.
