HR Bureau Holds SKP Bimtek to Achieve USU's Strategic Plan

USU PR - The Bureau of Human Resources (HR) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) provides technical guidance (bimtek) for Setting Performance Targets (SKP) for all lecturers and teaching staff at USU. This activity was held in the IMT-GT room on the second floor of the USU Central Administrative Bureau Building on Tuesday (11/16/2021). Present at the event the Secretary of the University, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked (OG).,Sp.OG (K) FER.
Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar said that performance appraisal can be carried out fairly and objectively so that it can motivate employees to work better, improve employee quality and competence, build togetherness and employee cohesiveness in achieving government and USU goals and objectives.
"The ASN (State Civil Apparatus) Performance Management System as mandated includes the activities of performance planning, implementation, monitoring and development of performance, performance appraisal, follow-up, and performance information systems," said Fidel Ganis.
Prof Fidel added that this technical guidance was carried out by the university to fulfill the mandate of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning the PNS performance management system, and also in order to improve the quality of ASN in the USU environment to become more professional, competent and competitive.
He added, different from the preparation of the SKP that had taken place previously, the preparation of the SKP that was in accordance with the current new provisions was the SKP which was directly related to the roles, duties and responsibilities of employees in achieving organizational goals and objectives, so that it was closely related to USU strategic plan and its achievements.
The technical guidance for the preparation of the SKP presents resource persons from the BKN Regional Office VI Medan, in order to obtain a complete and comprehensive picture of the methods, methods and techniques of how an Employee Performance Target is planned and prepared.
"I ask ladies and gentlemen as officials who handle the field of personnel in work units and institutions within USU to take full advantage of this opportunity to obtain important information and knowledge in the field of personnel, especially the preparation of SKP in accordance with applicable rules and regulations," said Prof. Fidel.
