"Field visits are a good momentum for us to reflect," said Prof. Edy

Public Relations USU - Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Business Management and Accounting (LAMEMBA) in the Offline Field Assessment activity of the S1 Management Study Program, which took place in the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, FEB USU, on Wednesday (04/23/2025).

 

Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., in his remarks representing the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Sc., stressed the importance of field visits to identify weaknesses and conduct reflections so that study programs can develop further and improve in the future.

 

"Field visits are a good momentum for us to reflect," he said.

 

The S1 Management Study Program has been established for more than 50 years since 1966, producing alumni who are adaptive, innovative, and entrepreneurial in spirit across various work sectors. Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., hopes that every teaching staff member and education staff member of the S1 Management study program is committed to their responsibilities and works together to maintain and strengthen the study program's quality.

 

"I hope that all teaching and education staff will work together to improve this position, and their responsibilities must be greater, especially to maintain the performance and quality of this study program," he hoped.

 

Currently, the S1 Management Study Program has 7 Professors, 42 lecturers, around 1,350 students, and has received international accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

 

In his speech, Dr. Fadli, S.E., M.Sc., the Dean of FEB USU, said that international-standard facilities support learning activities at FEB USU. FEB USU is committed to prioritizing ethics in all aspects, especially the tri dharma of higher education. He emphasized that FEB USU carries the slogan Ethics and Knowledge, namely, lecturers not only share their knowledge but also foster student ethics.

 

"FEB USU has carried the slogan Ethics and Knowledg,e which reflects our commitment to transform by prioritizing ethics and knowledge," he said.

 

Prof. Dr. Vera Pujiani, SE, MM.Tech, as a representative of the LAMEMBA Assessor team, said that she would re-check the form report prepared by S1 Management for February USU.

 

"We will re-check the completeness of the files," she said.
