Faculty of Pharmacy
As the 11th faculty established at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), the Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) was established in 2006 and is the only public educational institution in the field of pharmacy in North Sumatra Province. The Faculty of Pharmacy organizes 4 pharmaceutical education programs, including the Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy (PSSF), Pharmacist Professional Education (PSPA), Master's Program in Pharmaceutical Science (PSMIF), and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science (PSDIF). The faculty is supported by experienced and qualified teaching staff in their fields, and is equipped with adequate facilities and infrastructure, including laboratories and sophisticated equipment. Graduates of FF USU have a variety of career opportunities, ranging from industry (food, beverages, cosmetics, and medicines) to community services (pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, health centers, forensics, and health laboratories), as well as the potential to become educators, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the health sector.
