ANNOUNCEMENT Number: 16/UN5.3.4/KP.06/2025 CONCERNING THE FINAL RESULTS OF PERMANENT LECTURER RECRUITMENT WITHIN UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA YEAR 2025

Based on the results of the Field Competency Selection (SKB) for Permanent Lecturer Recruitment within the University of Sumatera Utara, which was held on August 21 and 22, 2025, we hereby announce the following:
The number of applicants declared PASSED is 67 (sixty-seven) people (attached).
Applicants who have been declared PASSED as referred to in number 1 (one), are requested to submit the required documents no later than 14 (fourteen) working days after the date of this passing announcement.
Applicants who have been declared PASSED must submit a complete set of required documents in accordance with the files previously uploaded on the website https://rekrutmen.usu.ac.id/, which consists of:
a. application letter addressed to the Rector of the University of Sumatera Utara (original);
b. curriculum vitae (original);
c. National Identity Card (photocopy);
d. 3x4 cm passport-sized photograph with a red background;
e. diploma and academic transcript for each level of education (legalized photocopy). For overseas graduates, it is requested to attach a diploma equivalency letter from the ministry;
f. TOEFL/similar certificate (photocopy);
g. expertise/skills certificate (photocopy – if any);
h. proof of work experience for a minimum of 2 (two) years in accordance with the field of study for Professional/Specialist Lecturer positions;
i. A statement letter with a stamp duty (original) stating that the participant:
1) has never been sentenced to prison or confinement for committing a crime with a prison sentence based on a court decision that has obtained permanent legal force;
2) is physically and mentally healthy;
3) is not under contract as an employee/Permanent Lecturer at another institution;
4) has never been dishonorably discharged as a civil servant or as a private employee;
5) does not consume/use narcotics, psychotropics, precursors, and other addictive substances;
6) is not a member or administrator of a political party and/or is not involved in practical politics;
7) has a high commitment to the development of the University of Sumatera Utara;
8) is willing not to resign for 2 (two) years starting from the date of being appointed as a Permanent Lecturer at USU and if they resign, they are willing to pay a fine of IDR 100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiah);
9) is willing to produce at least 1 (one) reputable international scientific publication or accredited national scientific publication within 2 (two) years after being appointed as a Permanent Lecturer at USU; and
10) is willing to continue their education to the Master's/Doctoral level for graduates who only have a professional/specialist education qualification, no later than 1 (one) year after their appointment. If they do not continue their education to the Master's/Doctoral level, they are willing to be dismissed as a Permanent Lecturer at USU.
Applicants who have been declared PASSED are also required to attach supporting documents during the submission process, with the following details:
a. Police Records Certificate (SKCK - Original);
b. Physical and Mental Health Certificate issued by USU Hospital or a Government Hospital (Original);
c. Resignation letter from the previous institution (if previously assigned to another institution - Original); and
d. Drug test results letter from USU Hospital or a Government Hospital (Original).
All documents must be submitted directly to the USU Human Resources Bureau, located on the 2nd Floor of the Rectorate Building, Jalan Dr. T. Mansyur No. 9 USU Campus, Medan City, no later than September 25, 2025, at 16.00 WIB.
The decision of the Permanent Lecturer Recruitment Selection Committee within the University of Sumatera Utara Year 2025 is final and cannot be contested.
