USU PR - Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received the 71st Anniversary Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) submission from PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN). It took place at the USU Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Hall, on Monday (23/10/2023).

This activity was opened with a morning run together by USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si, and Director of Bank BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu and ended with the handover of a plaque between USU and Bank BTN.

The USU Rector said that any CSR assistance obtained will be allocated to support the operations and smooth running of academic services, through infrastructure in the FEB USU seminar room. This assistance is very useful in improving the quality of teaching and smooth academic services for students and academics in the FEB USU environment.

"With this assistance, many rooms will be repaired and can be utilized," said the USU Rector.

The Rector also hopes that this assistance can improve the quality of teaching for students, more than before. and support the creation of superior graduates of Universitas Sumatera Utara.

"We hope that all academics and students of Universitas Sumatera Utara can make maximum use of this assistance and take good care of it for the common good," he hoped.

Nixon LP Napitupulu revealed that change can be a relatively easy thing, but the challenge is to ensure that the change is by the desired vision. Therefore, in the project that he will carry out, Nixon LP Napitupulu plans to assist USU in formulating a business plan for the development of businesses at USU.

"Therefore, I happen to have a project and maybe one of the projects will help USU to place a business plan and develop businesses at Universitas Sumatera Utara," said Nixon.

Finally, the Director of Bank BTN hopes that this cooperation process will continue in the long term. Currently, the main focus of allocating CSR funds is in the field of education, because education is very important for the progress of the country. Nixon LP Napitupulu, therefore, emphasized the importance of a more effective approach to managing CSR funds.

"I feel proud to be able to carry out this cooperation because I am also an alumnus here. I feel happy to be able to serve USU and help USU to be better," said Nixon.
