USU Participates in NSEACC 2023

I appreciate the implementation of this conference as an effort to improve our competence and professionalism, which directly impacts improving the quality of health services and increasing competence that will support the realisation of superior graduates of Universitas Sumatera Utara, said the Secretary of the University.
HUMAS USU - The North Sumatra branch of the Association of Anaesthesiologists and Intensive Therapy (PERDATIN) organised the North Sumatra Conference on Emergency, Anesthesia and Critical Care (NSCEACC) 2023, which was held on 10-13 May 2023.
Carrying the theme “The Evolution of Emergency, Anesthesia and Critical Care after Pandemic Era”, the event took place at the Grand Ballroom on the 1st Floor of Four Points Hotel.
The event began with a report from the committee chairman delivered by dr. Andriamuri Primaputra Lubis M.ked (An). Sp.An-TI (K) then remarks from the chairman of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) of North Sumatra, dr. Ramlan Sitompul, Sp.THT-BKL., SupSp FPR (K) and the PERDATIN board represented by the first chairman of PP PERDATIN, which continued with remarks from the USU Secretary, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M. ked (OG), Sp. OG (K)-Fer.
The University Secretary appreciated the holding of this conference. He hoped the conference would generate new ideas by sharing information and knowledge with the speakers and participants.
“I appreciate the implementation of this conference as an effort to improve our competence and professionalism, which directly impacts improving the quality of health services and increasing competence that will support the realisation of superior graduates of Universitas Sumatera Utara,” he said.
The University Secretary also said that Innovation is a keyword that currently animates all academic activities carried out by universities, including the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
“In order to keep pace with the changes happening around the world, especially in medicine and health in general. Innovation in the health sector is increasingly felt and the need after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, which is intended to provide protection to humanity from the fatal risks of death,” he continued.
Lastly, the University Secretary advised all participants to utilise the momentum to obtain the information needed to boost the number of articles to be published in reputable and accredited journals, thus increasing the reputation and ranking of the university in various assessment institutions.
