Amalia Meutia representing USU appeared as the Most Popular Person. Superior among leading universities in Indonesia such as UI, ITB, IPB, UNPAD, UGM, and others who are members of the PTN BH category.
When confirmed, Amalia expressed her gratitude for the support of all parties who had led her to achieve this title. According to him, the support from USU's leadership and the entire academic community is an important asset in this regard.

These results were achieved after the jury conducted an assessment in the 2021 timeframe. The Most Popular Public Relations Persons refers to university personnel who carry out public relations activities actively and benefit the community.
Acting (Plt) Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Dirjen Diktiristek) Kemendikbudristek, Prof. Ir Nizam, MSc, DIC, PhD, IPU, Asean Eng, said the Public Relations Award was a form of appreciation from Diktiristek to public relations personnel who always contribute active in publishing programs and policies from the Directorate General of Higher Education, especially the Merdeka Campus program.
“Media is one of the pentahelix keywords for universities in spreading the spirit of optimism and positive news from our campuses, bringing wind to the community. Having active public relations personnel will build our optimism to build a better Indonesia," said Nizam in his opening remarks.
Also in his speech, Prof. Nizam congratulated the winners, both universities, Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDIKTI), and journalists at the 2021 Diktiristek Award ceremony.
"Congratulations to the winners, even though the Covid-19 pandemic continues to work and win awards in the 2021 Diktiristek Award," said Prof Nizam.
The Diktiristek Award is an appreciation to stakeholders from universities, partners from ministries, institutions, the business world and industry, as well as journalists and media who have supported the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus policy and the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) for Higher Education. The three types of awards given include the Journalist and Media Award, the Public Relations Award, and the Cooperation Award. (©ULC)
