USU PUBLIC RELATION-MEDAN: The North Sumatra Regional Office of the Directorate General of State Assets (Kanwil DJKN) is committed to providing balanced information on state assets to the people of North Sumatra. This was realized by holding DJKN Goes to Campus at the University of North Sumatra (USU) on Tuesday (6/292021) online.

On this occasion, the Chancellor of USU, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., appreciated the activity.According to him, the public must be provided with complete andconcrete information about the country's wealth.


"I really appreciate this activity because it will provide a concrete picture of the wealth of the country. The public today has heard and received a lot of information that cannot be accounted for about thewealth of the country," said the USU Chancellor.


This was agreed by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Dr. Fadli, SE, M.Si.He said FEB is committed to providing educational services and experiences to students.


"Students need different educational experiences. With this event, USU FEB students will get interesting experiences and information about the wealthof our country," said the Dean of FEB.


The theme raised in the discussion is considered appropriate to the needs that exist in today's society.The USU Chancellor said that during a pandemic, thecommunity's economy was also affected.

"The Covid-19 pandemic doesn't just talk about social distancing, vaccinations and so on. More than that, the Covid-19 pandemic also has an impact on the economy of the communityat large," the USU Chancellor said.


The efforts of the wider community both self-financed and in the assistance of agencies and institutions, have also felt the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.The government is expected to be able to create innovations torevive the people's economy.


"MSMEs sponsored by institutions or agencies, as well as those that are self-financed, are all affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The government must come up with innovations so that economic enthusiasm in Indonesia will rise again," he said.


He hopes that Indonesia's potential can be utilized as much as possible.The country's abundant wealth as well as industrial and distribution markets made it possible to revive the people's economy, according to the Chancellor ofUSU.


Present at the event were Tedy Syandriadi, Head of the North Sumatra DJKN Regional Office, Kesatria Purba as Head of the Medan KPKNL, Maulina Fahmilita, USU's Deputy Deans of FEB, lecturers and students at USU. (©ULC)
