I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

A. STUDENT STATUS

  1. Prospective recipients are students of the Universitas Sumatera Utara.
  2. Prospective recipients are students who are still active in the Diploma and Undergraduate programs.

B. DURATION

Scholarships are granted to active students based on the current fiscal year period and are awarded for 1 (one) year or 2 (two) semesters.

C. QUOTA AND GRANT AMOUNT

  1. The quota is 12 students for all Faculties from all Regular pathways. 

  2. The grant amount in 2023 is IDR3,000,000.00 per student per semester for one year.

 

II. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

To be a candidate and recipient of the Universitas Sumatera Utara 3T Regional Scholarship, students must fulfill the following requirements:

A. REQUIREMENTS

  1. Undergraduate/Diploma IV/Diploma III is at least in the second semester and at most in the sixth semester for undergraduate and Diploma IV, at least in the second semester and at most in the fourth semester for Diploma III;

  2. Active student and not on leave;

  3. Minimum GPA of 2.75;

  4. Coming from 3T areas (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Farthest) according to the Presidential Decree Number 63 of 2020;

  5. Coming from an economically disadvantaged family (preferably students who are recorded in the DTKS of the Ministry of Social Affairs);

  6. Not currently receiving scholarships, working and or being in service bond status from other institutions / agencies;

  7. Have non-academic achievements (optional)

  8. The following is the origin of the district in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 63 of 2020:

B. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. Regist Online Here

  2. Photocopy of Student ID Card;

  3. Photocopy of the last semester student results card legalized by the faculty;

  4. Photocopy of the Family Card;

  5. A statement letter stating that he/she is a native of the local area from the Village Office where he/she resides;

  6. A statement from the Social Service Office stating that he/she is registered with the DTKS of the Ministry of Social Affairs (students from families participating in the Family Hope Program (PKH), holders of the Prosperous Family Card (KKS) and/or a Statement of Incapacity from the Village Head and/or a Statement of Income from the Village Head and/or Parents' Salary Slip from the workplace (agency, company etc.);

  7. Photos of residential house (front, living room, and kitchen);

  8. Statement of meter size of residential electricity account; (450, 900, 1300 and so on)

  9. Letter from the social institution or orphanage if the student lives in a social institution or orphanage; (if any)

  10. Letter of application and statement of not receiving scholarships / other tuition aid from APBN / APBD sources known by the Faculty Leader; (download here)

Registration and File Collection Deadline until May 19, 2023, at 15.00 WIB. All required documents are collected at the Office of the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Affairs of the Rectorate of the Universitas Sumatera Utara using YELLOW MAP during office hours.
