Selection Stages
- Registration: Extended until April 29 – May 3, 2024
- Document Verification: May 4 – 5, 2024
- Announcement of Document Screening Results: May 6, 2024
- Interview Selection: May 7 – 8, 2024
- Final Results Announcement: May 14, 2024
- Submission of Bank Account Numbers: May 15 – 18, 2024
- Disbursement of Funds: May 20, 2024
Eligibility Requirements
- Active students of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) enrolled in undergraduate (S1), Diploma IV, or Diploma III programs. Students must be in at least the second semester and at most the sixth semester for S1 and Diploma IV programs, or the fourth semester for Diploma III programs.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Originating from 3T areas (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost regions) as defined in Presidential Regulation No. 63 of 2020 (link provided).
- From economically disadvantaged families (priority is given to students listed in the Social Welfare Integrated Data/DTSK by the Ministry of Social Affairs).
- Not currently receiving other scholarships, working, or under any employment bond with institutions, agencies, or companies.
- Having non-academic achievements (if any).
Required Documents
- A copy of the Student ID Card (KTM) and/or temporary Student ID Card (KTMS), or a screenshot from the Academic Portal.
- A copy of the latest semester's Study Results Card (KHS).
- A copy of the Family Card (KK).
- A letter of verification from the Village Office confirming that the student is a native resident of the 3T area.
- A letter from the Social Affairs Office confirming the student's registration in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTSK), or proof that the student is part of the Family Hope Program (PKH), holds a Family Welfare Card (KKS), or has a Poverty Statement Letter issued by the Village Office, a Certificate of Income from the Village Office, or the parent's salary slip from their workplace.
- Photos of the house (front, living room, and kitchen).
- A certificate stating the electricity meter capacity of the house.
- A letter of verification from the social/personal shelter if the student resides in such a shelter (if applicable).
- Certificates of achievement in competitions (if applicable).
- A statement of request and declaration of not receiving any other scholarships or financial assistance (template provided in the link).
- A recommendation letter from the Faculty Administration Office (student affairs division).
- A checklist of required documents (template provided in the link).
