The Specialist Program in Radiology of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is one of the medical sciences that studies how to scan and diagnose the inside of the human body using X-rays, both in the form of electromagnetic waves and mechanical waves. This study program organizes radiology specialist doctor education based on the latest technology, and students are expected to have broad knowledge and skills in their fields.
This study program is committed to producing prospective doctors who are experts in the radiology field, with the help and supervision of nationally and internationally certified lecturers. Graduates of the Specialist Program in Radiology have the opportunity to pursue a career as radiographers and other health technologists. Students who have completed this study program will hold the Radiology Specialist (Sp.Rad.) degree.

Graduate Profile
Specialist Radiology graduates have knowledge and skills in operating radiology technology to diagnose and treat various diseases. They are able to read and analyze radiology scan results such as CT scans, MRI, and X-rays. In addition, graduates can serve as researchers and educators to develop technology and science in the field of radiology and improve the quality of patient care.
