Language Center

Established in 1986, the USU Language Center is a trusted and forward-looking institution in its dedication to enhancing language competencies. The Language Center has a wide scope of work, providing English language training, other foreign language training, and language services, such as translation and interpretation. Currently, the Language Center is divided into three divisions: the Competency Test and Assessment Division, the Translation Division, and the Courses and Training Division. The Language Center is strongly committed to realizing its vision of becoming a professional language service center that specifically supports the academic community of Universitas Sumatera Utara and, in general, the wider community.
