University of Sumatera Utara (USU) ranks in ten best campus in Indonesia according to student candidates and parents all over Indonesia. This ranking is a result from a survey conducted by Tempo's Data and Analisis Center in the beginning of 2009.

University of Sumatera Utara proudly present as the only University outside Java which listed in ten best campus in Indonesia according to the survey by Tempo's Data and Analisis Center, and also as the best campus in Sumatera according  to Responden in Sumatera.

Below is the survey result :

In Agriculture, USU is the best fifth  after Bogor Agricultural University, Gadjah Mada University, Universitas Padjadjaran and Hasanuddin University.
