Empowering lives and Nurturing well-being, Creating a Healthy Future, One Step at a Time.

Good Health and Well-Being means a good level of Health and Welfare in Indonesia, this topic is also one of the main programs in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) launched by the United Nations. The background of this program is based on the fact that access to quality health services is still a challenge for most Indonesian people. Problems such as high maternal and child mortality rates, the prevalence of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and inequality in access to health services are still a serious concern. This program aims to improve the health of the Indonesian people as a whole and ensure equitable access to quality health services. The University of North Sumatra is committed to supporting programs to improve physical and spiritual health and well-being in Indonesia through research, education and community empowerment. The Faculty of Medicine and all other Health Faculties at USU play an important role in producing qualified medical personnel, conducting innovative research in the health sector, and providing equitable health services for the community. Through collaboration with the government, health institutions and other partners, USU is committed to creating positive changes in the health sector in Indonesia and improving the quality of life for society as a whole.
